HK and China Equity. Kicking in and did 20% in just 4 weeks 4-13-2015
I have been trading HK/ China Equity since 2009. And was always disappointed that after it hit 52week high last 2010, it never revisited above that level.
That's why even though I find HK/China very cheap at only 10x PE and underperforming against Asia peers, I volunteered to set aside and liquidate my investments every time HK equity made some spikes. Because all markets in the world already beat this country in terms of gains.
And now, I think the Asian tiger has been revived and did a whooping +20% in just 4weeks time. And could just be the start. Darn! waited 4years for this one to be alive again.
HK and China also never revisited its 2009 peak, while almost all made new all time highs already.

China confirmed bull market, and HK targets 12-4-2014
Since Q3 of 2014. We are closely monitoring China market. We indicated that a sudden movement to the upside was encountered last August 2014,and a break above 2200 level could trigger a possible start of bull market for China. Helped by cheap oil, lessening their oil imports expenses.
We did notice that after going above 2200 level, China became very strong since 2009 recession.
We still continue to expect this market to go on uptrend.
Targets and resistances:
2850 (61.8% retracement of 2010 peak, uptrend resistance of Nov 2011)
3150 (76.2% retracement of 2010 peak, uptrend resistance of July 2011)
3450 (2010 peak and 31.8% retracement of 2009 peak)
All targets and resistances has 2 or more technical reasons. I believe it will just be the start of China's Bull market.
One market that will benefit China Bull market in case it starts to go strong is Hong Kong.
HK is one of the weakest since 2009 recession and once of the markets that was not able to revisit 2009 in Asia.
Uptrend since 2009 is still intact, and always get bumped and was a great BUY opportunity, now that China is getting strong, we may see HK go strong as well.
First target is around 25300-26000 where 2014 high is and medium term resistance of Nov 2013.
27500 is also an uptrend resistance where medium term uptrend since Nov 2011 is located.
I may not be thinking correct, but in case it is a full blown bull market like the US, HK can reach as high as 33,000. Though let us not think of it as of this moment. :)
*** this China Bull market thing is against our expectation of an ending Primary III in the US, where Primary IV coming next(hoping Q4 2014 to Q1 2015). It could still be a China Bull market, but dont expect a straight line up. Just pointing out next target resistances. China and HK is one of the weakest primary markets in the world, let us give them a chance to shine at least getting back 50% or 61.8% from their 2007 highs.

China and HK. Laggard markets 5-20-2014
Technically speaking, China index is still not looking good. It is still near its 52 week low, and a break below 2000 level could trigger another selloff.
The lowest area since 2008 recession was 1700. And we are nearly into that level.
DOW JONES is now at 16500, from 65xx last 2009 lows. And China is way nowhere to be found and cannot be likely said to be in a Bull Market.
HK index also has not made any new high since 2011 peak at 24700.
Now at 9.5x P/E, looks very cheap VS Philippines(20.5x) and US(16.5x), it has not made any good uptrend rallies and is hovering around the 5yr Bull Market support.
Long Term support is at 21500 and looks very weak compared to all Major Index in the world.

Hong Kong target downside reached! 2-7-2014
Our target area for HK has been reached! Wow. Target range was attained by these reasons:
1. measured length of the uptrend and measured it to the downside after it broke down
2. historical support was in that area.
The dark blue line in the lower area is also the 2009-2014 uptrend line, so it should be a long term support even though China is just 10% away from 2009 lows.
HK market is still weak even if it's P/E is just 9.6x China market dragging HK market.
We are still monitoring closely SPX as to what SCENARIO we could be facing soon

Hong Kong market, broke down with target downside 1-27-2014
I have been monitoring closely HSI as I started to enter HSI equity around 22,500. I entered last Dec with minimal confidence since China equity fell of and poised to revisit 19xx.
We have drawn downtrend lines since the Nov2013 peak, and it clearly shows we are still following that trend
Earlier Dec I have already drawn the target downside of HSI since the uptrend channel of June to Nov has broken down with a target downside of 21300 to 22100.
Today as of 10am SGT, HSI lost 500pts at 21950 and looking closely to our initial target downside.
Must wait for US to calm down but has greatly increased my confidence that HSI has better entry point as of this moment.
Long Term uptrend is also at 21000 and once it revisits that area, its a good entry point for Short to Medium term plays.
